Exmoor, Somerset

The final event in the Endurancelife Coastal Trail Series is arguable the toughest. Entrants can choose between a 10K, half-marathon and full marathon, but each presents near-vertical climbs along the Somerset and Devon coastline.

Highlander Mountain Marathon

Teams of two must navigate a two-day course across rugged Scottish terrain. The location of the start isn’t revealed until the last minute and you’ll need strong orienteering skills if you want to avoid getting lost in the wilds.

South Downs Way Mountain Bike Challenge

Winchester, Hampshire

This 170km, two-day race is predominately off-road across the picturesque South Downs. Riders must climb more than 3,000 metres and face steep descents before reaching the finish at the white cliffs of Eastbourne.

Flora London Marathon

Greenwich, London

Even if you're not running in the Flora London Marathon, it's worth taking a trip to the capital on 26th April to soak up some of the carnival atmosphere that accompanies the world's leading marathon. If you're very lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the MF's front section ed Joe Warner as he pegs his way around the course.
