Just Plain Awful

Hi,

I think both covers are awful. I swam & played waterpolo for about 10 years. In those years, I never saw a man with such a small waist or abs like that. I realise that magazine covers including mens have some photoshopping but this is ridiculous.

Regards,
Thomas

Reshoot

I do not think that is a very encouraging photo, the model looks like is just escaped from a concentration camp.

Both are equally eye-catching. My personal choice would be the blue one I guess. If not for anything else for the simple reason that the contents seem to be more interesting

Hi, Cover and headings are ok, but not a very good cover model for promoting mens fitness mag, imho. You dont need to isolate your abs to this extent anyway, just concentrate on your core muscles from within.
Many Thanks
Tom

thomas ur spot on

the model in these covers looks decidely un-well, not a good look at all. the blue cover is better but neither are a winner in my book

air brush!

Wow, i have to say that the air brushing on the model is just silly. the boundaries of the fake and the real have been well and truly crossed here. i work professionally within the photographic/re-touching industry and am stunned at this blatant attempt. sorry MH team!!

Buy this guy some food, NOW !

Both cover shots are Horrible !

- the guy looks like he's part lizard !

Does 'Mens Fitness' intend to screw-up blokes like the Super-skinny-eating-disorder look has already done for a large percentage of the female population ?

Why not feature REAL blokes who are actually fit and HEALTHY, not just these pseudo-body-builder-male-model freaks ?

I think personally the red one looks more better, it look more motivating

PDiddyJ

I beleive this model is Toby. I must confess - he looks anorectic and seriously underweight.

The really question you have to ask is how many people buy the magazine based upon having a stunning model with a great six pack on the cover page.

I challenge you to put an ordinary man on the cover and then monitor sales (I'm happy to volenteer)

o.0

Maybe something with slightly less airbrushing would be better. The model looks seriously underfed and unhealthy, definately not something for a health mag.

sex Tricks

I like option A because of the topic of
The 7 sex Tricks am dying To have That copy

i know him

all your comments stating the cover model is underfed, ill and has just come out a 'concentration camp' are laughable, Toby is 13 stone, trains hard and is healthy..cover B i think

air brush!

i think the problem is how the model Toby looks specifically on THESE 2 covers. I agree he must train hard and fair play to him for doing so but usually when he is featured within the magazine his body looks completely different (more natural and healthy). I dont think the argument should be with the model but with the MH design team/re-touching team.
