Men’s Fitness editor Jon Lipsey trained with leading US strength coach Mike Mahler during a recent two-day kettlebell workshop in London.
They started with basic moves such as swings then tried harder exercises such as snatches and Turkish get-ups. Mahler says he likes kettlebells because of their ballistic nature and because they develop the often overlooked posterior chain (the muscles on the back of your body).
