- Rest the bar on the back of your shoulders.
- Stand with feet apart, looking forward, with your elbows back to retract your shoulder blades.
- Keep your back upright and your core braced throughout.
- Take a big step forward, continuing to look forward.
- Keep your torso upright and don't send your front knee beyond your front foot.
- Your front foot can be angled slightly inwards to ease pressure on the knee joint.
- At the bottom of the move your back knee should almost touch the floor.
- Push off your front foot to go back to the start.
